artist info

“One of the most remarkable pairings in pop and jazz history,” (LA Times) the husband and wife duo perform new music and a selection of re-imagined jazz classics and pop gems.

With a signature approach that combines jazz, folk and R&B, the Bay Area based husband & wife team of guitarist Tuck Andress and vocalist Patti Cathcart are “one of this country's enduring treasures” (CNN). Formed after a chance meeting in San Francisco when Cathcart auditioned for a band that included Andress, the musical chemistry for both artists was instantaneous. As Andress relates, “Within a few seconds of hearing her sing, I knew that I had found my musical soulmate.”

For three decades, Tuck and Patti have enchanted audiences around the world with their sumptuous harmonies and remarkable gifts for melody, performing fresh new music as well as a selection of re-imagined jazz classics and pop gems. Their 14 releases, mainly on the Windham Hill label, have regularly made the top 10 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart, and their 2008 recording for their own T&P Records imprint, I Remember You, was a long-awaited project devoted to the Great American Songbook. They bring their timeless songs of love and devotion to Miner for this return engagement.
